Isn't it difficult purchasing things you like? It's a one by one prolonged debacle where people compromise constantly. Why not amass products that someone with certain tastes will love? Everyone could have a GiftPak -wonderful to enjoy. For example, looking around at the things I've already purchased, I would want a mini-Snoopy, panda pencil case, Apple desktop (in this case, used from eBay), interesting tin can for papers, book on economics, Modern Physics book, binder with clear sheets, skin creams, oval chair, designer whiteboard, etc., etc., a lot of Sanrio, etc, etc., gift card to mall or Goodwill (I need clothes), etc., etc.
That wasn't the best example, but chronic shoppers could do better. It's doubtful whether brand new or like brand new merchandise could be found en masse, cheap to make this a viable idea because buying in bulk you expect to pay discounted prices. However, catering to a variety of tastes could make this business more practical, meaning a variety of goods could be purchased instead of those just for one type of person, making the business more scalable.
There also could be other income brackets. One may come with a car. One may come with two instruments. One may come with a collection of mechanical pencils. Etc. Once people figure out people's taste preferences (perhaps by surveying what people have already bought), this might be a lucrative venture, especially with a lot of knowledge about where to find goods at a discount.
This sounds like something that could be on eBay, but you wouldn't get the possible exposure of your own business. Not many people on eBay search for lots of random stuff, I don't think.
